New Paintings

These new works are an extension on my previous 3D Paintings on wooden panels.

In this series the art works are set in a deep, hand-built box frame that draws the viewer into a small intimate space.

Here a picture of a scene enhanced by the 3D features of the work create a unique experience for the viewer.

The Alley way, Acrylic paint, wood and paper 21 x 32 x 7cm

City Lights, Acrylic paint, wood and paper 25 x 38 x 7cm

Summer sunset, Acrylic paint and wood, 48 x 33 x 7cm

“The beauty with 3D paintings is that the raised image creates its own shadow and whenever the light source changes the shadows change and the painting comes alive.”

Hans Schiebold
